Three dimensional imaging of arc of Buhler

چکیده
The gastrointestinal system is mainly supplied by celiac trunk (CelT), superior mesenteric artery (SMA), and inferior mesenteric artery [1]. The celiac trunk is a large arterial vessel of the upper abdomen which arises below the aortic hiatus at the level of T12th the vertebral body. It is divided into three main branches: common hepatic, splenic and left gastric arteries [2]. The SMA arises from the anterior aorta near the L1-2 level, 1-2 cm below the celiac artery origin [2]. The SMA branches are inferior anterior and posterior pancreaticoduodenal arteries, middle and right colic arteries, iliocolic artery, and jejunal and ileal branches [3].

Lessons learned from a case of multivessel median arcuate ligament syndrome in the setting of an Arc of Buhler
The median arcuate ligament (MAL) can rarely compress both the celiac axis and superior mesenteric artery. We present a case of a 70-year male who presented with isolated episodes of upper abdominal pain and diarrhea associated with sweats and nausea. Angiography images demonstrated complete occlusion of the celiac axis and compression of the superior mesenteric artery during the expiration pha...
متن کاملThree-Dimensional Image of A Communicating Uterus
Recent advances in reproductive medicine have created a demand for more accurate and safe imaging modalities before assisted reproductive treatment(ART) (1). Gradually, the important role of three-dimensional (3D) ultrasonography in the diagnosis of uterine congenital anomalies has been proved (2-4).

Introduction: The present study aims to evaluate the Three-Dimensional Diffusion-Weighted reversed fast imaging with steady state free precession (3D DW-PSIF) sequence with respect to imaging of the peripheral nerves; the tibial, medial, and lateral plantar nerves in the lower extremity, ulnar and median nerve in the upper extremity, sciatic nerve, brachial plexus, and lumbosacral plexus, and a...
متن کاملTranscatheter Coil Embolization of an Arc of Buhler Aneurysm
We report the findings of a patient with an asymptomatic Arc of Buhler (AOB) aneurysm, which was successfully treated by transcatheter coil embolization. An abdominal CT and angiography revealed an intact pancreaticoduodenal artery arcade (PDAA) and an anomalous communication between the SMA and celiac axis, termed an AOB. An aneurysm was observed at the origin of the AOB and treated with a tra...
